Unit System Status is the default page that displays after logging on the website. It provides a status summary with the ability to quickly drill down and view more detailed unit and alert information. Only those units assigned to your user name by your company's Client Admin display in the page. Additional features include those in the following list:
- Unit System Status pane: The system groups units in status categories based on each unit's current operational state. The total number of units in a status category display in parentheses beside the name of the status category, such as In Alarm (5). Click any status category to drill down and view a map bubble with more detailed unit information. The map bubble also provides links to Unit Detail where you can view channel measurement data. To view a searchable grid of all units, click the All Units status category. Use this feature to locate a unit when you do not know its current status category.
- Filter: Use the Filter link to display the Status Filter dialog box and choose which status categories display in the Unit System Status pane and System Status wheel.
- Unit Map: The map provides a geographical system overview with the ability to view the map in three modes: Map (street map), Satellite (satellite imagery), or Hybrid (imagery with street names). To navigate the map, use the pan buttons or click and drag. Double-click to zoom in or use the Zoom In and Zoom Out buttons.
- Current Alerts: A list of current alert notifications that includes a clickable page icon for displaying detailed alert information in a popup window; date and time alert notification was generated; name of alert as set up in Unit Admin; clickable link using unit name and type that allows quick access to Unit Admin and Unit Detail; and a clickable icon for acknowledging an alert when applicable.
- System Status wheel: A system status summary presented in a graphical format. Status colors in the wheel correspond to the same colors used in the Unit System Status pane.
