Unit Detail

Unit Detail provides detailed status and identification information for a single unit, such as unit Status, ID, Serial, System Serial, and map Location. Other information and functions available in Unit Detail include:

• Current Data tab: view current operating and data point status; channel measurements; and an activity log in a graph format.
• Activity tab: view a 30-day activity log of incoming packets, outgoing packets, alerts, and notifications in a graph format.
• Alerts tab: view and export a detailed list of Alerts and Notifications. Export data in Excel or CSV format.
• Incoming Packets tab: view and export a detailed list of incoming packets. Export data in Excel or CSV format.
• Outgoing Packets tab: view and export a detailed list of outgoing packets. Export data in Excel or CSV format.
• Run Time tab: set up Run Time and view a detailed Run Time log. Export data in Excel or CSV format.
• Journal tab: view and add unit journal entries.
• Export Data: export data in Microsoft® Excel® or CSV (comma separated value) format. Data available for export includes: Alerts, Incoming Packets, Outgoing Packets, and Run Time.
• Settings: click Settings to display Unit Admin.
• Commands: click Commands to send a command to a unit that supports two-way communication, such as the RM4010, ICP, ICP+, INT250, and INT300.

Several methods are available for displaying Unit Detail. The most common method is to click Units in the main menu, select All Units in Unit System Status, and then select a unit listed in the Unit column of All Units View. The procedures below explain how to display Unit Detail based on any of the following landing pages set up in Website Preferences of My Profile:

• All Units View
• Unit Monitor
• Detailed Unit Status

To display unit detail using unit system status: ˆtop of pageˆ

1. If the unit you want to view is listed in Current Alerts on Unit System Status:
   1. Select the unit in the Unit column of Current Alerts to display a map bubble in Unit Map.
   2. Click Details or the gear icon in the map bubble.
2. If you want to view a unit listed in All Units View:
   1. Click All Units in Unit System Status.
   2. Select a unit listed in the Unit column of All Units View to display Unit Detail.
3. If you want to view a unit based on a status category in Unit System Status:
   1. Click a status category such as In Alarm, Normal, or Not Reporting.
   2. Click the open icon (+) for a unit group and then select a unit.
   3. Click Details or the gear icon in the map bubble.

To display unit detail using all units view: ˆtop of pageˆ

1. Select a unit in the Unit column of All Units View to display Unit detail.

To display unit detail using unit monitor: ˆtop of pageˆ

1. If Unit Monitor is set up in map view, click an event icon and then click Details in the map bubble to display Unit Detail.
2. If Unit Monitor is set up in table or history view, select a unit in the Unit column to display Unit Detail.

To display unit detail using detailed unit status: ˆtop of pageˆ

1. Select a unit in the Unit column of Unit Detail.
2. Click the gear icon or Details to display Unit Detail.
