Use Reports to run, print, export, or email the following report types:
- Units
- Incoming Packets: can include information such as measurement readings for enabled data points, battery status, transmission type, and unit type.
- Outgoing Packets: can include information such as transmission date and time; user name of person initiating the packet; and packet status such as processed or complete.
- Accumulator Report: can include information such as current reading, YTD total, increase amount, and increase rate.
- Alerts: can include information such as a system generated alert ID number for each alert; date and time alert was created; alert name and type; and unit name, type, ID, and serial number.
- Inventory Report: can include information such as serial number, MIN number, service status, latitude and longitude information, and information for units assigned to your user ID such as unit name, ID, type, and status.
- Login History
- Billing
To run, export, print, or email a report ˆtop of pageˆ
- Click Reports and then choose the report to see:
- For Units reports, hover the mouse over Units.
- For a Units Incoming Packets report, hover the mouse over Incoming Packets and then click a unit type.
For all other Unit report types, click the name of the report (such as Outgoing Packets, Accumulator Report, Alerts, or Inventory Report).
- For a Login History report, click Login History.
- For a Billing report, hover the mouse over Billing and select Unit Billing Data. See Billing: How to Create Customized Reports for more information on creating Billing reports.
- Set up the following Required Filters:
- For any report type except the Units Inventory Report and the Billing Unit Billing Data report, select a Date Range using the Start Date and End Date fields.
- For Units reports - if you want to run the report for all units in a certain unit group, click the down arrow in Unit Group and select a unit group.
- For Units reports - if you want to run the report for a single unit, type the unit's name, ID, type, serial number, MIN, ESN, or system serial number in the Units field.
- For Units Outgoing Packet Detail, Unit Alerts, or Inventory Report - if you want to run the report for all or just one unit type, select the product name in the Product field or Unit Type field.
- For Units Accumulator Report - search for a unit or unit group, select a unit in the Select Unit field, then select the accumulator in the Accumulator field.
Note: Only when all three of the search fields for the Accumulator Report are complete will the Run Report button be active.
- If you only want to include certain data in the report, select or create a Report Preferences file in the following manner:
- To select an existing Report Preferences file, click the down arrow in the Preferences field and select the file.
- To create a new Report Preferences file:
- Type a name for the file in the Add New Preference field and then click the add icon (+).
- In the Columns field, select the data columns to exclude by clicking a check box to remove the check mark. (Column headings with a check mark are included in the report.)
- If you want to change the order of column headings, click and drag a column heading to move it.
- Click the diskette icon to save changes.
- Click Run Report to display report data.
- If you want to change the order of column headings or remove column headings from the report, follow these steps:
- To change the order of column headings, click and drag a column heading to move it to another position in the report.
- To remove column headings from the report:
- Click the Columns icon to display Field Chooser.
- Click and drag a column heading to Field Chooser.
- Click the close icon (X) to close Field Chooser.
Note: To add a column heading to the report, drag the column heading from Field Chooser to the report.
- To export report data in Microsoft® Excel® or CSV (comma separated values) format:
- Click the Excel or CSV icon.
- Click Open to view the report or Save to save a copy on your computer.
- To print the report in either portrait (8-1/2x11 inches) or landscape (11x8-1/2 inches) mode, check the page settings in print preview for your printer and then print.
- To email the report, click the Email icon and then follow these steps:
- Select the format for the report as either Excel or CVS by clicking the radio button next to the output format.
- To email the report to yourself, click the check box next to your email address to add a check mark to the check box.
- To add additional email addresses, enter addresses, separated by semi-colons (;), in the box below the To field.
- To include a subject for the email, enter the text in the Subject field.
- To include a message with the email, enter the text in the Message field.
- Click the Send button.
