If an alert has been set up on the Unit Admin page, users can acknowledge an alert either by phone or through the Asset Tracker website. To use the website to acknowledge an alert, use any of the following methods:

 

  1. In the Current Alerts table on the Asset System Status page.
  2. In the Current Alerts table on the Unit Status page.
  3. In the Current Alerts table on the Unit System Status page.
  4. On the unit information bubble on the Monitor page.
  5. In the Ack. column under the Alerts tab of the Unit Detail page.

 

 

To acknowledge an alert on the Asset System Status page:

 

  1. Click Assets on the menu bar to display the Asset System Status page.
  2. If the landing page is set to Asset System Status, this page will be the default start page after logging into the website. Refer to My Profile for information on how to select a website landing page.
  3. In the Current Alerts table, look for the alert icon (alert) in the Ack. column.
  4. To view more alerts, choose a page from the Page drop down list or use the arrows on either side of the Page field to move through the list of alerts.
  5. Click on the alert icon to acknowledge the alert. The icon changes to a green check mark (acknowledged) to indicate that the alert has been acknowledged.

 

To acknowledge an alert on the Unit Status page:

 

  1. Click Units > Detailed Unit Status on the menu bar to display the Unit Status page.
  2. If the landing page is set to Detailed Unit Status, this page will be the default start page after logging into the website. Refer to My Profile for information on how to select a website landing page.
  3. In the Current Alerts table, look for the alert icon (alert) in the Ack. column.
  4. To view more alerts, choose a page from the Page drop down list or use the arrows on either side of the Page field to move through the list of alerts.
  5. Click on the alert icon to acknowledge the alert. The icon changes to a green check mark (acknowledged) to indicate that the alert has been acknowledged.

 

To acknowledge an alert on the Unit System Status page:

 

  1. Click Units on the menu bar to display the Unit System Status page.
  2. If the landing page is set to Unit System Status, this page will be the default start page after logging into the website. Refer to My Profile for information on how to select a website landing page.
  3. In the Current Alerts table, look for the alert icon (alert) in the Ack. column.
  4. To view more alerts, choose a page from the Page drop down list or use the arrows on either side of the Page field to move through the list of alerts.
  5. Click on the alert icon to acknowledge the alert. The icon changes to a green check mark (acknowledged) to indicate that the alert has been acknowledged.

 

To acknowledge an alert on the Monitor page:

 

  1. Click Units < Monitor on the menu bar to display the Monitor page.
  2. If the landing page is set to Unit Monitor, this page will be the default start page after logging into the website. Refer to My Profile for information on how to select a website landing page.
  3. Click on a unit's icon to display an information bubble.
  4. If the unit has an alert to acknowledge, the Acknowledgement field contains an alert icon (alert). Click the icon to acknowledge the alert.

 

To acknowledge an alert on the Unit Detail page:

 

  1. On the Unit Detail page for a unit, click the Alerts tab.
  2. In the Ack. column, look for the alert icon (alert) in the Ack. column.
  3. To view more information about the alert, click the plus icon (plus) next to the alert icon. A Message/Notifications window displays with information about the alert message and a list of contacts for notification.
  4. Click on the alert icon to acknowledge the alert. The icon changes to a green check mark (acknowledged) to indicate that the alert has been acknowledged. Also, the Ack. By column will display who acknowledged the alert.
