Units: Viewing and Scheduling Interruption

Use the procedures below to view or schedule interruption for RM4010, ICP, or ICP+ units, including group interruption.

 

To display the Interruption page:

  1. Hover the mouse over Units.
  2. Select Interruption.

 

Perform any of the following tasks in the Interruption View tab:

 



 

To view interruption status of units ˆtop of pageˆ

  1. Hover the mouse over Units and select Interruption. A list of all units for all groups is displayed with unit name and last packet received, ID information, interruption status, the mode or program sent, and the interruption schedule. See To schedule an interruption for a unit or Group, below, for information on how to schedule interruption for a unit or a group of units.
  2. To view the interruption status of a particular unit group, click the down arrow in the Group field and select a unit group from the list of choices.
  3. To view the interruption status of a particular unit type, click the down arrow in the Unit Type field and select a unit type from the list of choices.

 

To display interruption information for just a Group or a unit type ˆtop of pageˆ

  1. To display information for single Group, select a Group name from the list of choices in the Group field.
  2. To display information for a particular unit type only, select a unit type from the list of choices in the Unit Type field.

 

To sort units ˆtop of pageˆ

  1. Click in the column header for either Unit, ID Info, or Interruption Status to sort by one of those categories.
  2. To sort again in reverse order, click in the column header again.

 

To search for a unit by name, ID, type, serial, or system serial ˆtop of pageˆ

  1. In the Quick Unit Search box, enter a unit name, ID, type, serial, or system serial.
  2. Press Enter to display search results.

 

 

The Schedule tab displays scheduled interruptions for all units, including information in the following columns:

  • Info: The date the interruption was scheduled to begin, the date the schedule was created, and the user who created the schedule.
    To see additional information about the status of the interruption, click the plus (plus) next to the schedule.
  • Settings: Displays the settings that were set up on the Schedule Interruption page.
  • Status: Displays the current status of the scheduled interruption.
  • Completion: Displays a graph of the percentage of outgoing packets sent, tried to be resent, or confirmed (Complete) and the percentage of outgoing packets that are complete and have a Successful status (Success). An outgoing packet can be Complete but may not be considered Successful.

 

Perform any of the following tasks in the Schedule tab:

 

 

To schedule an interruption for a unit or Group ˆtop of pageˆ

  1. Click the Schedule New Interruption button.
  2. Select a unit or a Group from the navigation pane on the left. If needed, sort the list by clicking the arrow (Sort) at the top of the list.
  3. Select when to have the interruption sent:
    • To send now, click the Send Now radio button.
    • To send later, click the Send Later radio button and select the day and time.
  4. Select the type of settings to send:
    • Click the check box for Send RM-Series Settings for unit types in the RM series.
    • Click the check box for Send I-Series Settings for ICP and ICP+ unit types.
  5. Add any appropriate notes in the Notes field.
  6. For RM-Series Settings:
    1. Click the Always Off check box to add a check mark to the box and to switch the relay driver output to assist in turning a rectifier output off.
    2. Select an Interrupter Mode from the list of choices in the field.
    3. If the Start/Stop Interrupter Mode was selected, select a Start Date for when the Start/Stop interruption will begin.
    4. If the Start/Stop Interrupter Mode was selected, select a Stop Date for when the Start/Stop interruption will end.
    5. If either the Start/Stop or Daily Interrupter Mode was selected, select a Start Time for when the interruption will begin.
    6. If either the Start/Stop or Daily Interrupter Mode was selected, select a Stop Time for when the interruption will end.
    7. Set an On Time in Seconds.
    8. Set an Off Time in Seconds.
    9. Click either the Normally Closed or Normally Open radio button to set the output.
    10. Click either the Off/On or On/Off radio button to set the synchronization.
    11. Click Save to save the schedule or Cancel or cancel the schedule and return to the Scheduled Interruption page.
  7. For I-Series Settings:
    1. Click the I-Series Settings tab.
    2. Click either the Start or Stop radio button to start or stop the interruption.
    3. Click one of the program radio buttons (Program 1 - 4).
    4. Click Save to save the schedule or Cancel or cancel the schedule and return to the Scheduled Interruption page.

 

To edit a scheduled interruption that has not been sent ˆtop of pageˆ

  1. Click the pencil icon (edit).
  2. Make any changes to the schedule.
  3. Click Save to save the new schedule or Cancel or cancel edits and return to the Scheduled Interruption page.

 

To delete a scheduled interruption that has not been sent ˆtop of pageˆ

  1. Click the minus icon (delete).
  2. Click Yes to delete the schedule or No or cancel.
  3. If the scheduled interruption is cancelled, the status of the schedule is updated to Cancelled in the Status column.
