Use Display As to define how values display on the website and in reports for analog data points and SDT16 registers. The following options are available for selection:
- As Is (Value as Decoded): Value displays normally with no conversion applied.
- Value Converted °C to °F: Celsius value converts to a fahrenheit value.
- Value Converted °F to °C: Fahrenheit value converts to a Celsius value.
- Description for Values: Value converts to a description. For example, shut down codes used with SDT16 registers convert to a user-defined description.
To set up an analog data point or SDT16 register with Display As:
- Click All Units in Unit System Status.
- Select a unit in the Unit column to display Unit Detail.
- Click Settings or the settings icon (pencil) to display Unit Admin.
- Depending on the type of unit you are working with, select an analog data point or an SDT16 register.
- Click the arrow in the Display As field and select an option.
- If you selected the option Description for Values, set up values with corresponding descriptions in the following manner:
- Type a value with a corresponding description in the Add Description fields.
- Click the add icon (+) and then repeat steps "a" and "b" as needed.
- If you want to edit an entry in Value for Descriptions:
- Click the edit icon (pencil) and then change the value or corresponding description.
- Click the save icon (diskette) to save changes or the cancel icon (X).
- Click Save to save settings on the Data Point tab or Reset to cancel changes and return to the last, saved settings.
