Asset System Status provides a status summary with the ability to quickly drill down and view more detailed asset and alert information. Only those assets assigned to your user name by your company's Client Admin display in Asset System Status. Additional features include those in the following list. To display Asset System Status, click Assets in the main menu.

Note: Assets are user assets or installations monitored by one or more remote monitoring units (RMUs). Examples of assets include electric meters, flow meters, rectifiers, water storage tanks, test points, and critical bonds. An RMU connects to an asset and monitors asset properties; multiple assets can be connected to a single RMU and multiple RMUs can be connected to one asset.

  • Asset System Status pane: The system groups assets in status categories based on each asset's current operational state. The total number of assets in a status category display in parentheses beside the name of the status category, such as In Alarm (5). Click any status category to drill down and view a map bubble with more detailed asset information. The map bubble also provides links to Asset Details and Unit Settings where you can view alert and measurement data.

  • Filter: Use the Filter link to display the Status Filter dialog box and choose which status categories display in the Asset System Status pane and System Status wheel.

  • Asset Map: The map provides a geographical system overview with the ability to view the map in three modes: Map (street map), Satellite (satellite imagery), or Hybrid (imagery with street names). To navigate the map, use the pan buttons or click and drag. Double-click to zoom in or use the Zoom In and Zoom Out buttons.

  • Current Alerts: A list of current alert notifications with date and time; asset name; unit name and type; and serial number information display in Current Alerts. Click the asset name to drill down and view detailed asset information in Asset Details.

  • System Status wheel: A system status summary presented in a graphical format. Status colors in the wheel correspond to the same colors used in the Asset System Status pane.
