Asset Admin allows you to manage assets and asset groups; set up security rights for asset groups; map assets to units in a field installation; edit unit and unit data points settings; edit unit journal; and create and apply unit templates.

| Add an asset group |
- Click Assets > Asset Admin and then the add icon (+) in the navigation pane.
- Add a new asset group when Add New Asset/Group displays.

| Set up user/group security rights for an asset group |
- Click Assets > Asset Admin and then select an asset group in the navigation pane.
- Set View and Admin security rights as required.

| Add an asset to an asset group |
- Click Assets > Asset Admin and then select an asset group in the navigation pane.
- Click the add icon (+) to display Add New Asset/Group and add an asset to an asset group.

| Map (associate) an asset to one or more units |
- Click Assets > Asset Admin and then select an asset group in the navigation pane.
- Select an asset in the navigation pane and then choose a Product Map.

| Set up a unit at the asset level |
- Click Assets > Asset Admin and then select an asset group in the navigation pane.
- Select an asset in the navigation pane and then complete settings on the following tabs as required: Unit, Alerts, and Location.

| Set up unit data points at the asset level |
- Click Assets > Asset Admin and then select an asset group in the navigation pane.
- Select an asset and then open the Installed Units folder.
- Click a unit in the Installed Units folder and then set up unit data points using any of the following tabs: Info, Settings, Alerts, Location, Journal, and Template.
