To assign an asset to an asset group:
- Click Assets > Asset Admin.
- Select an asset group in the Assets navigation pane.
- Click the add icon (+) in the Asset navigation pane.
- Type a name for the asset in the Name field when Add New Asset/Group displays.
- Click the arrow in the Type field and select an asset type.
- Click the add icon (+) and then click the close icon (–) to close Add New Asset/Group.
